Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026
Bayou State Earthworx operates this website to offer land management services in Louisiana. This policy explains, in plain terms, what information we collect from you, why we collect it, who else can see it, and how you can ask us to delete it.
Information we collect
When you contact us, request a quote, or fill out a form on this site, we collect the details you give us:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address
- The address of the property or job site you're asking about
- Anything else you choose to tell us about your project
Our website and the advertising tools we use also collect some technical information automatically, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and how you arrived at our site. This happens through cookies and similar tracking technologies.
How we use your information
- To respond to your question and prepare a quote
- To schedule, deliver, and follow up on the service you requested
- To bill you and keep records of the work we performed
- To send you service updates and, if you've agreed, occasional offers
- To understand which pages and ads bring people to us, so we can improve both
- To meet our legal, tax, and insurance obligations
We do not sell your personal information.
Advertising and analytics
We advertise on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram) and through Google, and we use analytics tools to measure how our website performs. To do this, we place tags on our site that share technical and activity information — such as the pages you visited or whether you submitted a form — with those companies. They may use it to show you our ads elsewhere, to measure whether an ad worked, and to build audiences of people with similar interests.
These companies handle that information under their own privacy policies. You can limit this in a few ways: adjust your ad settings in your Google and Meta accounts, use your browser's cookie controls, or turn on your browser's or device's tracking-protection features.
Who else sees your information
Beyond the advertising and analytics providers above, we share information only with service providers who help us run the business — for example our email and phone providers, payment processors, and accountants — and only as much as they need to do their job. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers, or our property.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests and inquiries that don't turn into work for about two years, in case you come back to us. Records tied to completed jobs, rentals, and payments are kept for as long as our tax, accounting, and insurance obligations require — generally seven years. Technical and advertising data is kept for the shorter periods set by the providers that collect it.
Requesting access, correction, or deletion
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email brandon@bayoustateservices.com or call (985) 868-8045 with the word "privacy" and what you'd like us to do. We'll confirm your identity and respond within 30 days.
If you ask us to delete your information, note that we may need to keep records tied to completed work, payments, or a signed rental agreement to meet legal and tax requirements. We'll tell you if that applies and delete everything else.
To stop marketing email, use the unsubscribe link in any message we send. To stop text messages, reply STOP.
Children
Our services are for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date above.
